Practrice good habits will enable you to overcome some of the bad ones. If to find yourself putting things off, you are a procrastinator. This keeps you from succeeding in life, because it doesn't give you the opportunity to even start. " I will do it later" is always the last thing you say. Instead of trying to come up with reasons for not doing something, just stop talking yourself out of it and just first get up, start taking action toward the thing you want to put off. Count and say "1-2-3 go!" Don't analyze doing the simple task, just lean in to it and do it. If you have planned task toward your dream, take that task and work it, check it off once finished then continue to the next. Practrice doing what you say, if you can do it immediately, do it. Practrice saying to yourself, "1-2-3 go" then take action to do the task. Reject excuses that you will come up with. If you have a plan, work to finishing it. Your dream depends on you moving forward, not putting it off. Your vision is to make it reality, not to keep it as a mentor apparition that lies in the back of your mind. Sit up, lean forward, stand up and say 1-2-3 go, then put that foot in front of the other, now you are off. Before you know it, you are finished with the very task you worked so hard not to do. If you want to change your life, you have to make the choice to commit to that change in your life for the good. Try to finish what you start, this is another good habit that compliments, just doing it.
