FINDING DIRECTION

I spent 25 years in the US Air Force and retired. When I graduated from high school I had dreams, but had no direction. Some people know what they want and they go for it. I did not. I went to college not knowing what I wanted to major in. All I had was a dream is to succeed, but did not know how to get there. I brought up my service in the USAF to say I needed direction, something , someone to give me direction. I needed discipline someone to mentor me. Someone to help me to define myself and to define what it meant be a man, cause my dad was not always around. I don't make this an excuse. So I joined the service in search of that. Let me be clear the military is not for everyone. So you may find another avenue that can give you what you are looking for. I found that the military I needed to get answers I seek. The military taught me how to have confidence in myself and others that have the same goals. Don't this sound familiar? Supporting the Dream Foundation has some of those same goals. Not only the pursuit of dreams but to commit to something bigger than yourself. First you got to believe in yourself and help those that need a helping hand is a feeling like no other. So let's get going to walk that path to your dreams with the help of others and you to help them see their dreams. So let's continue our journey.
