Opportunity and fear are in many cases at odds. Fear can be your motivation or it can be your obstacle to succeed. If walking down the road toward your dreams or success you have to confront both fear and opportunity. Some times opportunity knocks and you become fearful of success. You talk yourself out of going through the door of success, an opportunity that can get you to you dream. You hear the voices in your head saying, "I don't think I can do it," "that I'm not ready, yet".Fear may keep you from taking a chance on your life, on yourself. Fear will get in the way when opportunity comes knocking. It's okay to have fear. The unknown can be scary. It's only natural. But, being aware of your limitations and understand how fear effects you, can make a difference in successfully pursuing your dreams. Entrepreneurs confront fear everyday, the fear of failure, the fear of a result that is unfavorable. If you want to be successful, you have to take fear and control it to some point.Taking a chance is what we do to conquer fear. You only can accept opportunity if you can take some control of your fear. Leaders have some fear that they deal with. Everyday we have to make a decision to go forward or succumb to our fears. Take a chance on yourself and embrace the opportunity to go forward. Minimum the risk can help to minimize the fear. Learn as much as you can about your journey to feel less fear by shining the light on the unknown. Opportunity may only come once in your life and you don't want to miss it on account of you being afraid to go forward. You will be surprised that fear can be an incentive to go ahead. Opportunity to be promoted on your job comes up, you think you're not ready. So you decline to take the promotion. Myself, I believe that I can learn, I can adapt. I have the ability to make the transition. Give yourself the chance to fail and get up and learn from the failure. Say to yourself, "I'm not doing that again" and just continue from where you fell. Focus on the opportunity and don't let, fear keeping you from the opportunity that was placed before you.
